WisPerMed met under the theme "Future-Proofing Healthcare - Navigating Digital Transformation to the Point of Care on 16 May 2024 in Essen. Ulrich Sax from NFDI4Health delivered an engaging presentation addressing the question: How can data sharing be supported by design?

NFDI4Health at the DVMD 2024 symposium

This year’s symposium of the Association for Documentation and Information Management in Medicine (DVMD) took place on 7 and 8 May 2024, the 2024 in Hannover. The conference theme this time was “Garbage in, garbage out? - not with us”. In a two-part workshop, NFDI4Health speakers from Leipzig, Greifswald and Hanover, together with Medizininformatikinitiative (MII) and the company DMI, presented concepts that can enable the subsequent use of data quality indicators. 

NFDI4Health Steering Committee reflects on successful half-year

The NFDI4Health Steering Committee convened for an in-person meeting in Bremen. The gathering brought together the leads from the 6 task areas to reflect on the current challenges and successes of the consortium. The committee hold a positive resumé on the achievements of the last half-year and charted the future direction.

NFDI4Health contributions at the DVMD conference 2024

This year’s DVMD conference is going to take place under the motto “Garbage in, Garbage out – without us” in Hannover from 7 to 8 May 2024. At this event, medical documentarians, information managers and medical informatics specialists gather to network and discuss the newest developments in health data quality and interoperable usage. 

NFDI4Health at the NFDI4Immuno All-Hands Meeting

The NFDI4Immuno All-Hands Meeting brought together various NFDI consortia from 24 to 26 April 2024 in Berlin. NFDI4Health presented its central vision of FAIR health data along with the corresponding infrastructures and services. The exchange sparked lively discussions and highlighted intersections and synergies.

NFDI4Health hosts successful Citizen Science closing workshop

NFDI4Health convened with participating research projects on citizen participation in early April in Oldenburg. During a closing workshop, the excellent results of the projects were presented and the important aspect of the citizen perspective was highlighted. It was a successful day with exciting insights!

EXTENDED: Call for knowledge transfer via diversity

NFDI4Health is launching a new project funding program of 12,000 € on the topic of knowledge transfer through diversity. All creative minds with innovative ideas for communicating our concepts and services for FAIR health data are highly encouraged to apply.
