NFDI4Health operates within the framework of an extensive network that connects a wide variety of different stakeholders. The Participants contribute their broad expertise to strengthen NFDI4Health’s knowledge base and actively engage in projects. They support the development of NFDI4Health by expressing needs and providing feedback. Furthermore, they propose specific projects that, once approved by the NFDI4Health General Assembly, are implemented. Central to this is the close collaboration with the Scientific Advisory Board, which provides expert advice and guidance, as well as with the User Advisory Board, which focuses on the needs of practical users. Numerous national and international institutions and individuals act as Supporters, affirming the relevance and feasibility of the project. Moreover, NFDI4Health is closely linked to other discipline-specific consortia under the NFDI umbrella and works on cross-cutting concepts and services. NFDI4Health is in close communication regarding the European Health Data Space and will contribute to its implementation in Germany with its standards and infrastructures.

The network enables the inclusion of various perspectives, promotes regular reflection, and ensures the demand-driven and sustainable development of data infrastructures that benefit both research and healthcare.
