The Medical Informatics Europe (MIE 2025) conference will take place from 19 to 21 May 2025 in Glasgow. Under the theme “Intelligent health systems – From technology to data and knowledge”, this international event will bring together leading minds in medical informatics. NFDI4Health will be contributing with sessions on FAIR data management, FHIR profiling, and innovative training concepts.
The webinar series Meet-the-Data@ Gesundheitsforschung by NFDI4Health & BIH QUEST is entering its second round. The series showcases valuable datasets from leading research institutes across various fields of health sciences. This time, we are looking beyond the horizon to England.
NFDI4Health invites you to the Open Friday Lecture “European Health Data Space”. Our guest speaker Ira Mießler from the Federal Ministry of Health (BMG) will present the regulation on the European Health Data Space (EHDS), which creates a legal framework for the secure exchange and use of health data within the EU.
The aim of the workshop is to develop a concept for participatory research in the management of health data and corresponding structures. A particular focus is on how citizens and patients can be actively involved in research and communication processes within the NFDI4Health initiatives.
The next meeting of the TMF AG Data Quality and Transparency will focus on the planning of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and the concept of a European Data Quality Label.
