The 17th annual meeting of the German Society for Epidemiology (DGEpi) e.V., the professional representation of epidemiologists in Germany, took place from September 26-29, 2022 in Greifswald. NFDI4Health sought intensive exchange with the community through workshops, presentations, and an exhibition booth.

The annual autumn workshop of the working groups "Statistical Methods in Medicine" (IBS-DR), "Statistical Methods in Epidemiology" (IBS-DR, DGEpi, DGSMP), "Statistical Methods in Clinical Research" (GMDS) and "Epidemiological Methods" (DGEpi, GMDS, DGSMP) in cooperation with NFDI4Health and TMF e.V. is projected to take place November 17th–18th at the premises of the TMF e.V. in central Berlin. Participation will also be possible online.
We are looking forward to offering numerous presentations and workshops at the 17th Annual Meeting of the German Society for Epidemiology. An overview can be found here.

On 22 February 2022 the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology (BIPS), the German Centre for Cancer Registry Data (Zentrum für Krebsregisterdaten, ZfKD) and the Federal Ministry of Health (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit, BMG) came together in a virtual meeting. Current developments in health research in Germany and at the European level were discussed.
