The Canadian Mælstrom Research group [1] has built one of the largest catalogue of epidemiological studies in the world, and develops methods, classifications and software to make epidemiological studies discoverable, comparable and prepares them for joint data analyses. Mælstrom Research works also with many European partners in epidemiological research consortia. The meeting was conducted to establish a strong cooperation between the Mælstrom Research group and NFDI4Health, to foster study data sharing internationally along with an international standing and visibility.

The 17th annual meeting of the German Society for Epidemiology (DGEpi) e.V., the professional representation of epidemiologists in Germany, took place from September 26-29, 2022 in Greifswald. NFDI4Health sought intensive exchange with the community through workshops, presentations, and an exhibition booth.
On 22 February 2022 the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology (BIPS), the German Centre for Cancer Registry Data (Zentrum für Krebsregisterdaten, ZfKD) and the Federal Ministry of Health (Bundesministerium für Gesundheit, BMG) came together in a virtual meeting. Current developments in health research in Germany and at the European level were discussed.
The National Research Data Infrastructure for Personal Health Data (NFDI4Health) is partner of the FAIR Data Spaces project.
