NFDI4Health at ‘Data Stewardship goes Germany’

The network meeting of German data stewards, ‘Data Stewardship goes Germany’ (DSgG) will take place from 11 to 12 September 2024 at RWTH Aachen University. Research data managers from all fields are going to come together to exchange best practices and innovations and furthermore build networks in the German data stewardship community.

Jens Dierkes, Julia Fürst, Birte Lindstädt and Ines Perrar are representing NFDI4Health at the event with their talk ‘Support research data management in health studies: library and research working together in a data steward pilot’.

The pilot studies what cooperations between library-based data stewards and medical researchers need to look like in order to make health data FAIR and enriched with metadata. Based on the different qualifications of both groups, these forms of cooperation are planned, tested and evaluated. In addition, training concepts are being developed to make it easier to work with the NFDI4Health services. They will share their latest findings in their presentation.
