What do we want to achieve?
1
Describing the course of infections with the SARS-CoV-2 virus
2
Collecting data to find out how likely a severe illness is, based on age, gender, and health condition
3
Investigating how often and what kind of long-term effects the disease might have
Results
Long term effects
Even mild symptoms at the time of infection can indicate long-term consequences in the form of LongCovid disease
Gender
Women were more frequently affected by LongCovid disease than men
Symptoms
People with specially mild symptoms during infection, like fatigue, breathing difficulties, cognitive problems or headaches and aching limbs, still suffered from the disease's effects 3 months later
